Taking pride in both family and career, Jim and Monica Bieri founded the company in 1983 with the purchase of a Ford Louisville. From there the operations snowballed, and the company has grown beyond anything they ever dreamed.
Operating out of their home for years, Jim and Monica took on a second business opportunity in 1990, becoming a grain dealer/merchandiser. In 1998 they established Bieri Brokerage Co., Inc. In 2007, Jim and Monica purchased the local grain elevator, expanding their grain operation to include warehousing and feed. With this development, the office staff relocated to the elevator location where the over-the-road flatbed, freight brokering and grain activities currently operate.
Stacie Bieri-Ziegenhorn, (daughter) is the operations manager filling in for all operations at the office. Chad Bieri, (son) is the maintenance manager, drives truck and is the go-to person for the drivers regarding any maintenance issues. Daughter-in-law Tabitha Bieri (Chad’s wife) is an integral part of the brokerage operation. Daughter-in-law Cassie Bieri has been in charge of the feed sales and assists with grain merchandising activities. Cassie and Beau Bieri recently relocated to Montana (their dream) to pursue other employment opportunities. The feed and grain responsibilities have since been taken over by daughter-in-law Melissa Bieri.
There is a lot going on around here! Jim and Monica Bieri still take pride in the fact that Bieri Trucking, Inc. as always, remains the heart of all operations.
